Open Government and United Nations Agenda 21 - Our Money!
Canada Free Press - Sept 26, 2011 As Americans are trying to make sense of and understand the multi-faceted United Nations Agenda 21, new information emerges daily. Adopted, signed into law, and implemented through non-governmental organizations “sub-rosa” work since 1992, UN Agenda 21 grows at the local, state, and federal levels with new rules, regulations, executive orders, private-public partnerships, and declarations, accelerating the United States’ inclusion into one world government.
Aggressive advertising by compliant progressive media is brainwashing unsuspecting Americans that UN Agenda 21 is protecting the environment and, to oppose it, would mean opposing the preservation of the environment, the destruction of the fragile eco-system, rejection of alternative, green energy, and selfish neglect of their children’s future.
The recent Solar Decathlon 2011 (September 23-October 2) presented by the U.S. Department of Energy, in concert with several universities (Purdue, Middlebury College, Florida International, Ohio State, University of Maryland, University of Tennessee, Rutgers, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, University of Massachusetts, the City College of New York, Hampton University, Old Dominion University, the Southern California Institute of Architecture, California Institute of Technology, University of Calgary, Team China, Team Belgium, New Zealand’s VictoriaUniversity of Wellington, and University of Illinois) has displayed at West Potomac Park near the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. exhibits showcasing how “to create an energy-efficient home, selecting and operating a solar-electric system, and building a more sustainable future.”
The entire exhibit is tailored for “green building professionals.” Never mind that Solyndra, the California-based solar panel maker filed for bankruptcy protection on September 6 and fired all its 1,100 employees. With much White House fanfare, Solyndra received a $535 million loan guarantee, which was later granted by the Obama Administration. Private investors forked more than $1 billion into the company. It is alleged that investors and executives with Solyndra were substantial donors to Obama’s campaign and had spent large sums on lobbying.
Two other companies working on “alternative energy,” the darling phrase of liberals, have filed for bankruptcy because they could not compete with China’s subsidized solar panels and demand was low. Both companies received money from the $800 billion stimulus. Solar panels have been subsidized by our federal government and states have given subsidies to taxpayers in the form of tax write-offs for the installation of solar panels. Cliff Stearns (R-Florida) said, “So I think the administration is on this fervent religion of green jobs and clinging to the idea that solar panel is the answer and it is not the answer.”
Fox News reported that Evergreen Solar Inc. received “$5.3 million of stimulus cash through a state grant to install 11,000 photovoltaic panels at 11 colleges and universities, a recycling facility, and an education center in Massachusetts.” SpectraWatt from New York, a solar cell company, received a $500,000 grant from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from the stimulus package to improve solar cells without changing current manufacturing process.
Never mind that close to twenty percent of the labor force is unemployed and cannot afford to pay for the homes they currently own and rent, much less purchase solar panels. Through Agenda 21 requirements, Americans will eventually have to build or retrofit their homes with solar energy in order to meet the United Nations green agenda. UN Agenda 21 is building through ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives) and its 600 affiliates in the United States the infrastructure of the new “green” alternative energy, solar and wind, while discouraging the use of fossil fuels such as oil, coal, and natural gas.
Under the noble mantra of saving the earth, the United Nations wants to change the way we live, eat, learn, communicate, move by controlling the economy, the environment, our health, and private property in the name of social equity (social justice). The ultimate goal is to have a one-world government under the aegis of the United Nations, controlled by a handful of individuals. (Actually if they succeed, it would almost be fun to watch all the big players vie for the top roles - Prince Charles, Ted Turner, Bill Gates, Puten, Buffett and all the rest of the huge money individuals who want to push this country to Socialism.)
To bring us ever closer to this goal, world leaders congregated on September 20, 2011 at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria hotel in advance of the United Nations General Assembly, in order to formally launch a new initiative called the Open Government Partnership. During the day of discussion, they unveiled and signed the “declaration of principles.”
President Obama called at last year’s General Assembly for “specific commitments to promote government transparency.” Eight countries have endorsed the Open Government Partnership on September 20, 2011 and are publicly releasing open government plans:
Under Support Civic Participation, one sentence stands out. “We commit to protecting the ability of not-for-profit and civil society organizations to operate in ways consistent with our commitment to freedom of expression, association, and opinion.” What happens when citizens’ opinions diverge from their commitment to freedom of expression?
Under Implement the highest standards of professional integrity throughout our administration, the commitment to have “robust anti-corruption policies” is scary. “We commit to maintaining or establishing a legal framework to make public information on the income and assets of national, high ranking public officials.” This brings to mind the economic police we used to have under communism. If a person’s income was reported by informants as excessive, the culprits were arrested, fined, and their excess-capacity goods or income confiscated. According to this principle, an informant would be protected. “We commit to enacting and implementing rules that would protect whistleblowers.” There will be “anti-corruption prevention and enforcement bodies.”
United Nations global control of our economy, our country, our lives, our freedom Under Increase access to new technologies for openness and accountability, it is obvious that the public is encouraged and expected to snitch. “We commit to developing accessible and secure online spaces as platforms for delivering services, engaging the public, and sharing information and ideas.”
Although this signed declaration is non-binding and voluntary, thirty more countries are expected to join. The most astonishing detail is the fact that one of the “featured, leading private sector, non-profit and government innovators in the 21st century” is Socrata, Kenya’s Open Government Portal.
“We commit to espouse these principles in our international engagement, and work to foster a global culture of open government that empowers and delivers for citizens, and advances the ideals of open and participatory 21st century government.” I thought we elected officials and hired bureaucrats to run our government. When did we turn into a participatory 21st government?
One more step towards a complete United Nations global control of our economy, our country, our lives, our freedom, and the erasure of our sovereignty with complete acquiescence of our government’s signatory.

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA's Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA's Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models. "The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show," Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. "There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans." In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted. These new findings are extremely important and should dramatically alter the global warming debate. Scientists on all sides of the global warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide (the answer is "not much"). However, the single most important issue in the global warming debate is whether carbon dioxide emissions will indirectly trap far more heat by causing large increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds. Alarmist computer models assume human carbon dioxide emissions indirectly cause substantial increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds (each of which are very effective at trapping heat), but real-world data have long shown that carbon dioxide emissions are not causing as much atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds as the alarmist computer models have predicted. When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a "huge discrepancy" between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. The little secret of the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit e-mails is that there is no “global warming.”
A point of greater significance lies outside them. The 90 megabytes of e-mail and data files provide evidence that leading figures at East Anglia were covering up or massaging data that disputed global warming, particularly, land surface temperature records, and the evidence of a period of warming temperature well before the industrial era, known as the medieval warm period. What had them upset was that the slight upward spike in surface temperatures over approximately two decades preceding 1998 has disappeared from the land surface records, and for the past approximately eight years there has been a cooling trend that has largely eliminated the previously alleged 0.6°C increase in the “global averaged temperature,” over the previous century. Highly influential figures in Britain have denounced the exposed hoax, some in scathing terms. Lord Christopher Monckton, Britain’s leading spokesman against the global warming fraud, called leading figures at East Anglia “criminals” and “arrogant fraudsters,” and suggested they will soon be prosecuted for procurement of data destruction. Yet, the far more serious crime, is that “global warming” is a fraud, whose real intent is to promote a genocide worse than Hitler’s. Since its first promotion in 1975, the claim has been that carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from industry will warm the planet, melt the ice caps, and fry or drown us all. Therefore, human beings will have to do without. There never was scientific proof, and the argument went against all competent understanding of climate science—that it is the Sun and the variations of the Earth-Sun orbital relationship which are the principal determinants of climate variability.
